Furzie Needlefelting Duck Workshop – Saturday 24th January 2026

Join us at our cosy studio, in the gorgeous venue “Chepstow Art Space”, for a woolly foray into needlefelting with wool sculpture artist Michelle Hickman of Furzie. Michelle has many years’ experience teaching needlefelting and has also published a book on the subject.

Sculpt a duck using just wire, wool and special needles – although there is no sewing involved and all the details are created from wool, with no glass eyes or beads.  Your finished model will be around 7 inches in height, an Indian Runner Duck with wings folded.

Join a workshop to learn essential techniques and practical tips under Michelle’s expert, friendly guidance and marvel in that magical moment when the wool comes to life.

This course is suitable for absolute beginners or those with some experience – this would also make a fun gift.
