Welcome to Chepstow Art Space

A working space for local artists and a centre for workshops in the heart of Chepstow.

Founded by Chepstow residents Julio Franco and Genevieve Eden, Chepstow Art Space is a new, independent workshop space for arts and crafts.

The centre aims to provide people in Chepstow and beyond with an array of interesting and unique workshops and classes throughout the year. Workshop themes include wood carving, stained glass, pattern cutting, printing, pottery, creative writing, painting and jewellery making.

Co-founder Julio Franco has a fully-equipped carpenters workshop within the space, from which he will be taking commissions for his work.

The space also includes 4 separate units within the building for resident artists.

We are creating a beautiful space that will nurture your creativity and provide a relaxing and inspiring atmosphere for people to connect, play and learn together. We look forward to seeing this building, the “Old Library”, come back to life and become a valued asset to Chepstow.    – Genevieve Eden
